On December 6, 2024, the student scientific conference „Smart Built Environment“ will take place. The conference is organized by Kaunas University of Technology. Faculty of Civil engineering and architecture.
The student scientific conference is intended for students of all Lithuanian and foreign higher education institutions interested in the innovations of civil engineering and architectural science. A conference is a great tool for students to present scientific papers, discuss scientific topics, and develop public speaking skills. During the event, students’ work will be evaluated by a special commission.
The event is free, and the official language of the conference is English.

Until 2024 November 4 – registration for speakers and co-authors
Until 2024 November 18 – submission of an extended abstract.
Until 2024 November 25 – approval of extended abstract.
2024 December 6 – conference.
The conference traditionally includes only oral presentations.
Official presentation language: English.
The oral presentations should be prepared using the “Microsoft PowerPoint” program (save your “PowerPoint” presentation as .ppt). Presentation style.
The time limit for oral presentation: 5-7 min.
The best authors of the conference papers will be awarded.
Extended abstracts are provided in English according to the provided template – TEMPLATE.
The length of the extended abstract is 2 to 5 pages.
Send detailed abstract (doc (x) and pdf format) to the e-mail address: sbe@ktu.lt, indicating the name: SmartBuiltEnvironment_Name_Surname.
The extended abstract prepared by the author (s) will not be further edited.
Papers prepared by conference participants according to the provided template and presented orally in person will be published in a special edition dedicated to this conference.
